LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.19 g, 12 h), imitating Alexander III and Philip III of Macedon. Celticized head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Celticized Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, two monograms; below throne, 𐤆; to right and below, imitative legend.
